Privacy Policy

Draft — pending legal review. This page describes, in good faith, what the Cantera Lab marketing website (canteralab.app) actually does today. It is not a substitute for legal advice and should be reviewed by counsel before this site is used to collect data from the public at scale. It does not cover the separate Cantera Lab product application, which has its own data practices for player, coach, and academy accounts.

What this site collects

This marketing site is intentionally simple. Today it can collect:

  • Waitlist submissions — your name, email address, profile type (player, coach/scout, club or federation), country, an optional playing or competition level, and the site language you used.
  • Standard web server logs — the kind any web host or CDN collects automatically (IP address, browser type, pages requested). No third-party analytics or advertising trackers are installed on this site as of the date above.

We do not require an account to browse this site. The waitlist is meant for adults; if you're under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to sign up on your behalf.

How submissions are used

Waitlist submissions are stored in our database (hosted by Supabase) and may also be passed to an internal automation (built on n8n) that sends a confirmation or follow-up email. We use this information to contact you about early access and to understand which countries and profiles to launch with first. We do not sell this information to third parties.

Cookies

This site sets a single functional cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers whether you prefer English or Spanish. It does not set marketing or analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Data retention & your rights

We retain waitlist submissions for as long as reasonably needed to evaluate early-access interest and contact you about launch. If you'd like your information deleted or corrected, contact us using the details on the Contact page and we'll act on it.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever this policy changes in a meaningful way. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
